A long-bodied jiaotai pixiu (貔貅) in multicoloured marbled cane — the mythical creature in motion, with stripes of green, blue, and red rendered through the cane technique.

About this piece
A sculptural jiaotai horse in cobalt, brown, white, and sage marbled cane — the horse in motion, with a flowing mane and tail rendered through the cane technique.
The horse motif is a Tang dynasty visual vocabulary, returning the jiaotai technique to its 8th-century roots. Each piece is unique.
